Focuset, Natural Supplements and the FDA

Focuset, a natural supplement rather than a prescription drug, is not regulated by the FDA in the same manner as drugs. However, the FDA still assures that manufacturers of natural supplements cannot make false claims. Further, manufacturers of natural supplements like Focuset cannot claim their products will effectively treat, cure or prevent any disease. This is why you see the standard FDA disclaimer on our website, and on the website of all reputable suppliers of natural supplements.

The definition of “disease” used by the FDA is extremely wide, encompassing even common and natural processes like male pattern baldness – which is not considered a “disease” in medical circles or in everyday language.

ADD/ADHD would certainly fall under the FDA definition of “disease”, so we are unable to claim that Focuset can effective treat or cure ADD/ADHD. In fact, we are quite limited in what we can say about our natural supplement, Focuset, without running into conflict with the FDA. Such is the case with all natural supplements.

Is the inability to focus or concentrate a “disease”? Is poor memory and recollection a “disease”? Without doubt, certain conditions which lead to these symptoms – including ADD and Altzheimer’s – are diseases. But to an extent, forgetfulness and distraction are part of normal life, especially during periods of stress (like exam time for students).

We cannot and do not claim that Focuset will cure, treat or prevent any “disease”. But based on exhaustive research, customer feedback and our own extensive experience, we know that it is highly effective in supporting memory enhancement and promoting focus and concentration.

Focuset has been painstakingly developed, using expensive, high quality natural ingredients that have been used for generations to support mental functioning. No other natural supplement contains our unique formulation. And none can match Focuset’s efficacy.
